Social media users are reacting to controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable’s dramatic reaction following N20m bail by court.
Trendymack reported earlier this week that the controversial singer was declared wanted by the Police for conspiracy, serious assault, armed, breach of public peace, and attempted murder through the recruitment of armed thugs.
On Wednesday, the singer turned himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba, where he was transported to Ogun State Police headquarters.
On Friday, the controversial singer was arraigned in court on five-count charges bordering on conspiracy, assault, and restriction, armed with cutlasses and guns, and conduct likely to cause harm.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted an N20m bail and was restrained from speaking about it or anything related to it on social media. The magistrate court adjourned the case till March 5 for trial.
In a video making rounds online following the court verdict, Portable was captured staging a dramatic scene. In the clip, the singer was seen getting on his knees as people held tightly to him.
