From the looks of things, Rúben Amorim is actively working to adapt Kobbie Mainoo to the number 10 role in his tactical setup.

In the last 3–4 games, Mainoo has been deployed in a more advanced position—partly to mask his limitations in defensive recovery when played deeper.

It’s a smart tweak from Amorim, especially considering how much we’ve struggled to progress the ball when Bruno operates as the number 10.
