Famous Nigerian singer and rapper Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, recently stirred controversy online with a celebratory post to Inter Milan after the Italian side defeated Barcelona in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
The Champions League match was played yesterday, May 6th 2025 at San Siro, and by extension Inter Milan won by 4-3 which makes them advanced to the next stage. Recall that in the first leg, Inter Milan and Arsenal played 3-3.
Note that singer Skales regains his prominence in the Nigerian music space after Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal as well as his spanish teamates Nico Williams, and Samu Omorodion dance to his hit song “Shake Body”.
Also, Skales delivered a live performance during Spanish football club Barcelona’s celebration party after their Copa del Rey final win over rival Real Madrid. He also met with Yamal mother.
Recently, Skales releases a new single titled “Dance like Yamine Yamal” days after meeting the spanish superstar.

However, Inter Milan TikTok handler following their victory over Barcelona uses Skales song “Shake Body” to accompany the video, a development that captured the heart of Skales who reacted by celebrating them and promises to bring a tour to Italy.
Skales wrote; “Congrats, Inter. We go again next year Tour is also coming to Italy 👀.”

As expected, the above video by Inter Milan sparked reactions online as many accused Skales of switching to Italy after Barcelona of Spain crashed out in the Semi-Final of the Champions League. Some also said that Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal won’t like the video.
