Jamil Balogun, the son of Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage, recently captivated fans with a charming performance shared via his Instagram story. The event took place during his school’s cultural day, where he showcased his linguistic and stage talents.
In the video, Jamil was joined on stage by Imade Adeleke, daughter of superstar Davido. Together, the young duo impressed the audience with a well-delivered recitation in French. Viewers applauded Jamil’s fluency, noting his confidence and eloquence in the foreign language.
Jamil began his presentation by introducing himself and shared his thoughts on Afrobeat, exuding a natural flair for public speaking. He followed this with a spirited rendition of a Yoruba song, encouraging the audience to join in as he extended the microphone towards them—highlighting his ease and charisma on stage.
Dressed in a traditional white agbada paired with trousers, a black cap, and a green muffler, Jamil proudly embraced his Yoruba heritage. Although he didn’t verbally state his hometown, his attire spoke volumes about his cultural pride.
Imade also participated in the cultural showcase, identifying herself as a native of Ede in Osun State. Together, the children’s performance was both entertaining and culturally enriching.
Jamil continues to give fans a glimpse into his life, often appearing in lighthearted moments with his mother. A few months ago, a video of Tiwa Savage playfully scolding him for wasting tissue paper went viral, with Jamil’s cheeky response winning over viewers.
