Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has once again found himself entangled in political controversies—this time revolving around his home state, Osun.
On Tuesday, June 3, Davido accompanied his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and their father, billionaire businessman Dr. Deji Adeleke, on a visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
Soon after this meeting, rumors spread that Governor Adeleke might be switching allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), causing unrest within the Osun APC chapter.
The party quickly responded by holding a press briefing where Timothy Owoeye, the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, emphatically stated that Governor Adeleke was not welcome in the APC. This declaration gained significant traction on social media.
In reaction to the viral clip, Davido took to his Instagram story with a sharp and cryptic message:

In reaction to the viral clip, Davido took to his Instagram story with a sharp and cryptic message:
“No be this guy naked for bush?”
Although he didn’t directly name anyone, many interpreted the comment as a reference to Owoeye, who had previously been embroiled in a widely discussed controversy.
Davido’s post quickly stirred the online community, eliciting laughter from his cousin B-Red—also Governor Adeleke’s son—and sparking a wave of varied responses from fans and observers alike.
