Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stirred reactions as she advocates for a peaceful protest amid the nationwide protest against bad governance.
The wife of billionaire businessman and senator, Ned Nwoko shared a video on her Instagram page, weighing in on the nationwide protest which kicked off today, August 1st.
According to Regina Daniels, it is generally known that the masses in the country are suffering and wish for a better way of living, which is the reason behind the nationwide protest.
However, even though there is nothing wrong with protesting, there is everything wrong with violence. The involvement of violence defeats the entire purpose of the protest.
She further pleaded with Nigerians to opt for a peaceful protest to ensure that the voice of the masses would be heard and acted upon.
She captioned her video: “A PLEA FOR A PEACEFUL PROTEST 🙏”
