Asake responds to fans’ request to sing his songs in English

Afrobeat sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake has responded to fans who are requesting he sing his songs more in English.

This follows the release of Asake’s highly anticipated third studio album, “Lungu Boy” which featured music stars like Wizkid, Stormzy, and Travis Scott, among others.

Some fans complained that they could not relate to his songs since the majority of his lyrics are in Yoruba.

In reaction, the singer, in a recent Instagram Live session, revealed that he seems more comfortable singing in Yoruba even though he is also capable of singing in English.

However, anyone who chooses to be his fan has to be a fan of his Yoruba lyrics.
