I have spent over N1.4bn on my film village, no loan or grants – Actor Ibrahim Chatta (Video)

Nigerian actor and filmmaker Ibrahim Chatta has shared some of the challenges he faces in the film industry related to his film village.

Located in Oyo State, the film village spans around 74 acres and features traditional-style houses adorned with artwork that reflects Yoruba cultural heritage. It also includes stables for horses and other animals.

In a video, Ibrahim revealed that he has invested as much as N1.4 billion into creating this impressive facility, all without relying on grants or loans.

The 54-year-old’s revelation has captivated many on social media, who have praised his dedication and resilience in his craft.

Chatta also mentioned that it took him about four years to complete the project due to limited capital.
