Famous musician Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, poured his heart out during a recent Instagram live session, making a passionate appeal to his brother peter.
The emotive appeal came in reaction to his ongoing fight with his twin brother, Peter Okoye also known as Mr P.
Paul’s question: “Can we still be brothers if we don’t do P-Square? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?” Peter’s message to his brother struck a chord with fans and followers who had seen the twins’ public rift.
The brothers’ relationship has been tainted by accusations and counterclaims, with Paul first blaming Peter of having him incarcerated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter, on the other hand, flatly refuted the charges, directing attention to their older brother, Jude Okoye, who he said was under investigation for embezzling P-Square cash. The back-and-forth on social media has split followers, with many trying to understand the scope of the Okoye brothers’ problems.
Paul’s heartfelt plea for a brotherly relationship, despite their musical differences, underscores the complexity of their situation as he calls for peace even though they aren’t collaborating musically anymore.
