A Ghanaian mother of three has publicly shared her heartbreak experience after being divorced by her husband of 24 years.
In an emotional interview on SOMPA FM, the devastated woman revealed that her husband, who is an immigration officer, ended their marriage, citing her lack of formal education as the primary reason.
Despite their long marriage and three children together, the woman expressed deep sadness and frustration over the sudden breakup.
Adding to the elderly woman’s distress, she disclosed that she got no alimony, financial support that she is expected to receive following their divorce.
Speaking in trembling voice, she said, “After 24 years of being together, he divorced me without giving me even a single Ghanaian cedI”.
