The Edo State gubernatorial election continues to spark discussions both online and offline, with music star David Adeleke, known as Davido, sharing his thoughts.
In a viral tweet, Davido disagreed with the suggestion that voters should leave immediately after casting their ballots.
Responding to a video of a police representative on a TV program, Davido quoted the clip, tweeting:
“Loool go where?”
“Bruh @inecnigeria fix up we can’t continue like this .. wtf.”
In a follow-up post, Davido explained his deep interest in the Edo election. He wrote:
“My mom is from Edo for those wondering why I’m interested in the election … but we as Nigerians should be concerned sha.. @inecnigeria shame on you I know how many times I had to come in here and rant before they got it right in Osun! It’s really bad .
God help us.”
