Popular Nigerian rapper Phyno has officially released a new album named “Full Time Job” today, October 4th 2024 and by extension socialite Huspuppi verse on a song off the new album has been a trending conversation online.
Recall few days ago, Intel Region reported that rapper Phyno released the tracklist of a song off his new album “Full Time Job” which houses 15 songs and surprisingly Hushpuppi was one of the featured artistes in the album.
Recall that in 2022, a U.S. court sentenced Hushpuppi to 11 years in prison for cybercrimes. He had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering in April 2021, 10 months after his June 2020 arrest in Dubai, UAE.
However, after Hushpuppi made headlines earlier this year for the birthday of celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut while inside the prison in USA, the socialite is in the news again as he dishes out a verse on Phyno’s album while still in jail in the USA.
This time, Hushpuppi uses his experiences so far in life to advise Nigerians in a message that could be described both as motivational and emotional.
Speaking in the song, Hushpuppi said that the other day someone asked him to give him the best advice, and in response, Huspuppi said he told the person that he should run his race at his own pace as everybody’s destination is different stressing that the finish line can never end in this life. He urged the person not to feel pressured by another person’s success as he tells the person work on himself rather as life is too short.
In his words; “You know the other day, somebody dey ask me wetin be the best advise I fit give him, then I tell am say, make everybody run their own race in their own pace, everybody destination is different and finish line no dey for this life, anytime u reach tour own point of destination, you go collect your own congratulation, so I beg, no try to play street, an online pedestrian, street no get memory and pedestrians dey move on, do your best at all time and be for yourself, I no knw say pressure to do unboxing video wan kill lot of people, abeg take am easy on yourself, go work hard, abeg life is too short, kosomona, ijaya 1.”
