Seun Kuti, a singer and son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, has recalled how frustrated he was when he was not invited to superstar Davido’s wedding.
Recall that Davido and his beloved wife Chioma Rowland had their lavish wedding ceremony on June 2024 and it was star-studded event attended by distinguished guests, celebrities, governors and dignitaries.
Seun Kuti, who featured in the latest episode of ‘Curiosity made me ask’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, disclosed that he couldn’t sleep for a week after Davido ignored him for his wedding invitees.
According to the singer, it was painful because Davido and his team used to drink beer at his family’s bar, ‘Shrine’, without paying.
In his words, “Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and he would drink without paying, but when it was time for his wedding, I didn’t get IV. I was pained, I didn’t sleep for one week.”
