The legal challenges facing music mogul Diddy are escalating as he confronts a series of lawsuits alleging sexual assault, with several male plaintiffs among the accusers. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, representing as many as 120 alleged victims, has already initiated six lawsuits, four of which involve male claimants.
One of the lawsuits is filed by a man who was employed by Ecko Clothing in 2008. He asserts that during an encounter with Diddy and his bodyguards at Macy’s flagship store in New York City, he was assaulted. The individual claims that after being pistol-whipped and knocked to the ground, Diddy approached him and demanded oral sex, which he alleges culminated in a violent rape.
Another male accuser states that while serving as security at Diddy’s 2006 White Party, he was drugged and subsequently overpowered. He alleges that Diddy forcibly sodomized him inside a van, resulting in significant trauma. The accuser further claims that the assault caused him physical injuries, with bodily fluids leaking from him.
A third accuser reports being assaulted at a Diddy party in 2021 after becoming disoriented from a single drink. He claims to have been immobilized during the incident and recalls seeing Diddy naked above him while being sodomized by at least three men.
A fourth lawsuit involves a man who was just 16 years old when he attended Diddy’s 1998 White Party in the Hamptons. He alleges that Diddy exploited him by promising fame and coerced him into dropping his pants to inspect his genitals as part of an inappropriate “rite of passage.” The individual claims that Diddy touched him inappropriately during this encounter.
These lawsuits represent the initial wave of claims, as Buzbee has indicated his intention to file over 120 lawsuits against Diddy, heralding a significant legal confrontation for the hip-hop icon.
