In a swift response on his official Instagram page this morning, Paul Okoye revealed he had written and recorded a song titled Winning, originally set for release next year. To his surprise, his twin brother, Peter Okoye, released the same song with the same producer.
Wondering if he now needed to release his own version, Paul expressed frustration, noting that he had submitted six songs to their management and questioned why they were re-singing his lyrics word for word.
Paul Okoye wrote; Song title : “WINNING Written and sang by RUDEBOY Produced by same producer . NOW HOW COME ? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION? Mr Producer your case na for another day … Just a simple thing : Bring 6 song let me bring 6 song … submitted my 6 songs to the so called management. why re-singing my own song 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ word for word 🤷🏾♂️ Song that was sopos to be in my album next year June 🤷🏾♂️.”
On his Instagram story, Paul Okoye declared that the days of manipulation were over, vowing to release the original versions of any of his songs that were being copied.
He said; “The days of manipulation are over!! And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version. Oloriburuku!! Music is not that hard!!”
