In an emotional video that has left many in tears, a Congolese soldier was captured saying his last words to a friend before succumbing to the horrors of war.
The trending video, shared widely across social media, showed a soldier in his hideout, lying injured and surrounded by chaos. In the emotional footage, he records himself delivering heartfelt farewell messages to his friend, capturing his final moments amid the turmoil of war.
In his final moments, the soldier told his friend that he would not survive much longer in his hideout, revealing that he had been shot in the arm. As he showed the injuries on his body, he made a heartfelt plea for his friend to take care of his family after he was gone.
With gunshot sounds showing in the background, he asked him to send all his money and salary to his family as well as his war bonus.
In his words, “Mon dear friend, I’m in a bad position, I’m hidden, I won’t last long. I’ve been shot in the arms. The bullets came out here. Please take care of my family, my money, my salary, as well as his war bonus. All details are in my documents.”
