PSG player Joao Neves spoke to the press after their victory over Arsenal in the Champions League semifinals. He disagreed with the Gunners coach Mikel Arteta on whether the English side were better.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Joao Neves said they were better in the tie against Arsenal that qualified them for the Champions League final in Munich.
“We are very happy to be in the final of the Champions League,” he said, on ‘TNT Sports’. after beating Arsenal 2-1 to qualify for their second final in the club’s history.
“It was very important for us to find a way to win and, now, we have the chance to win the title,” he added.
“Arsenal is a very strong team, with a lot of individual and group quality, but I think we were better. Now, we have to continue like this, working hard and following our game plan. I think that’s our best way to play and how we can win. We are confident,” he added.
