It has been three weeks in the Big Brother Nigeria Season 9 (BBNaija S9) and Nelita, which is a collective name for Nelly and Anita, emerged as the new head of house (HoH).
Nelita pair became the HOH for week 3 after winning the customary game challenge on Monday. In a ballot exercise, the duo earned the highest votes—8 out of 12— and would lead their fellow BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates this week.
They also chose Chekas as their HOH guests for the week, a surprising choice which spurred comments from many fans.
On Sunday, housemate pair Wanni x Handi won the custodian challenge for this week. The win gives them immunity from being evicted on Sunday and the power to either save or evict a nominated house pair.
However, the HOHs are saddled with the responsibility of coordinating tasks in the house and maintaining orderliness.
The grand prize for this season is a spectacular ₦100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.
The show which is now going into its third week will run for 10 weeks, concluding with the finale on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
