Nigerian singer Davido recently joined the celebration of Ethiopia’s New Year after being invited to perform.
The singer was in the East African nation to mark the start of their year 2017, while the rest of the world is nearing the end of 2024.
Davido Aide, Ubi Franklin, shared updates on Instagram, posting videos of the festivities.
In one video, Ubi told Nigerians about Ethiopia’s New Year. He said:
“It’s New Year in Ethiopia, they are in 2017, they just entered 2017.”
