Nigerian singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia has been a center of controversy following a throwback video where 2Baba describes Annie Idibia during an interview.
On Sunday evening, January 26th, 2Baba announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. According to the ‘African Queen’ Crooner, he and Annie have been living separately for a while and have filed for divorce.
The news of their divorce caused shockwaves across the social media platforms as fans and the online community expressed their displeasure over their separation. Netizens dug up old videos capturing the romantic moments between the couple.
In the throwback video circulating online, the couple were granting an interview, and 2Baba was the one speaking.
During the interview, the broadcaster asked what 2Baba will remember about his wife in the next ten years of their marriage. In response, the singer revealed that Annie is still a very naive and innocent person. He went ahead to say that his wife is so young at heart.
In his words, “How do I describe you now, she is still a very young at heart person. like almost naive sometimes. Ehen, Innocent person.”
Annie, who was sitting beside her man, was just smiling while listening to what her husband was saying to the woman.
