Renowned Nigerian DJ and philanthropist, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, has recently took to social media to celebrate a significant milestone – eight years of being verified on Instagram.
DJ Cuppy, who is set to bag another degree, took to her Instagram story to share her goal she achieved since 2016, which was the year she got her verification on the Image-sharing platform.
DJ Cuppy has built a successful career for herself as a DJ, musician, and entrepreneur. She has not only made a name for herself in the music industry but also uses her platform to support charitable causes. Her lively personality and commitment to her work have gained her a large social media following, where she actively connects with fans and shares her life.
Celebrating her 8 years of verification on Instagram, she posted two slides showing her Instagram page in 2016, and she had about ninety-one-thousand followers, and currently in 2024, she has about nine-million followers.
The slides showed that Dj Cuppy is one of the highest followed celebrities in Nigeria, with Davido at number one.
She then advised her online community to keep believing in themselves and stay committed.
DJ Cuppy wrote, “Self hype can actually make your dreams come true. Keep believing in yourself and stay committed! You have to be your biggest fan.”
