Popular Fuji icon K1 De Ultimate has started making headlines as he sends many into fits of laughter with the way he turns the derogatory phrase “Ganusi” he used for Alfas into a song at a latest performance.
Over the weekend, K1 De Ultimate made headlines after a video surfaced of his conversation with a man while preparing for his late mother’s Fidau prayer. In the clip, he used the term “Ganusi” to describe some Islamic clerics (Alfas).
The phrase quickly sparked controversy online, with many interpreting it as a jab, suggesting that some Alfas attend such events mainly for the food, labeling them as food mongers.
During the Fidau prayer, the controversy deepened as Sheikh Faruq Onikijipa addressed K1 De Ultimate over his Ganusi remark. However, K1 refused to apologize, further fueling the online debate.
While Alfas have been criticizing K1 De Ultimate over the phrase “Ganusi” he used for them, the Fuji Icon effortlessly shows off his singing skills at a recent performance as he creates a song with the “Ganusi” phrase and by extension it captures the attention of some music lovers.
He says; “Eni toba Ganusi sohun loma ropeda X3, wa Ganusi kiwo no ropeda, kiwo na ropedaX3.”
