Taking to her verified Instagram page today, December 30th, 2024, actress Funke Akindele was spotted with her crew celebrating by dancing so hard following the success of their blockbuster movie, Everybody Loves Jenifer.
According to the latest post shared by Funke Akindele, her movie, Everybody Loves Jenifer which is still showing in cinemas nationwide has grossed a total of 1,034,091,220 in cinemas in Nigeria and Ghana.
Funke Akindele proves doubters wrong as she breaks the record of her own movie A Tribe Called Judah which was released in December 2023 and later grossed 1 billion in Box office, showing that her success is not by luck but by hard work, and consistency, among others
However, Funke Akindele’s movie Everybody Loves Jenifer broke several records, reaching over 1 billion just 19 days after its release. The movie became the second to reach the 1 billion box office in 12 months.
Everybody Loves Jenifer is the highest-grossing producer and director of all time. The movie holds the record for the top four highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.
The Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifer accounts for 40% of the December Box Office with 201,804 admissions. The movie is the fastest to hit 1billion mark in just 19days.
