Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has honoured his father, Adebayo Salami, by presenting him with his AMVCA trophies.
Trendymack reported that the talented actor and filmmaker had won the Best Lead Actor award and another award at the just-concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards on Saturday, May 10th.
Taking to his Instagram page, Femi shared a video of the moment he presented his father with the award, and he and others prayed for him.
In his caption, Femi stated that his father is the foundation of where he started. He expressed how humbled he was by the sweet gestures of his father and mother. He revealed that his parents’ sacrifices, prayers, and love made him who he is and declared that without them, there wouldn’t be him.
“There are moments awards can’t measure—like this one. Humbled beyond words as my father, Alhaji Adebayo Salami @adebayo.salami, and my dear mothers poured prayers over me today.
