Popular Nigerian singer Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi professionally known as Seyi Vibez has got many people talking online following a new video of him that surfaced online.
Seyi Vibes, the “Pressure” crooner was spotted engaging in an interview with a white man at the ongoing 2025 BET Awards in London, United Kingdom.
While Seyi Vibez is one of the Nigerian top singers that hardly engage in interviews with many stressing that it is due to his inability to communicate properly in English as being observed in his songs, the new clip proved many wrong.
Seyi Vibez in the latest video dished out some composure as he manages to speak English in a fluent way according to his ability, fuelling widespread reactions online.
When asked to mention the pioner of Afrobeats in USA, Seyi Vibez gives credit to the likes of Rema, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido, he also mentioned his name.
Speaking further, Seyi Vibez says that he would like to have songs with Kanye West and Playboy Carti.
He also mentioned Davido as a good guy when the interviewer said that Davido dad, Dr Adedeji Adeleke is the one behind 20% of electricity in Nigeria.
Although Seyi Vibez was clearly cautious with his choice of words, the interview sparked mixed reactions. While some praised him, saying he now speaks even better than his industry rival Asake, others mocked him, claiming he wanted to express more but was limited by his struggles with English.
