Street Pop star Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has continued to vent out his issues with Nigerian singer Davido as he narrated his experience.
Portable, who is the latest guest in popular podcast ‘Echo room’, recounted how he canceled a show in United State of America (USA) which worth over N9.8 million ($6K) to meet the ‘Unavailable’ crooner only for him to be disappointed.
According to him, he was looking forward to collaborating with Davido or at least gaining some form of recognition that would elevate his career but Davido failed to give him the attention he expected.
In the recent interview, Portable stated that if Davido or others can’t help him, then, they shouldn’t stress him.
He said, “I canceled a $6k show in the USA to meet Davido, and he ended up wasting my time. If you want to help me, help me, and don’t stress me”.
It is worth noting that Portable has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music scene with his energetic performances and street style. His hit song Zazoo Zehh, featuring Olamide and Poco Lee, brought him quick fame and a large fan base both in Nigeria and abroad. However, his rise to stardom has been filled with drama, as he is often in the news for his outspoken personality and unfiltered social media outbursts.
