Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a new video that surfaced online was seen having a one-on-one conversation with some Nigerian youths and by extension unwrapped some unknown things about himself while giving them some advise.
In the clip making the rounds online, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is now worth muliti-billions of naira said that he used to be like them as he once needed urgent 2k for survival.
Speaking further, Governor Sanwo-Olu stressed that life is all about stages while telling them not to worry themselves. The Lagos State Governor said that what they will become at the age of 40, they should not rush it at 18 or 22.
While advising them to enjoy their young age, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu uttered that the youth of nowadays have what he and his colleagues do not have during his time which is technology. He said that the presence of technology makes the youth of nowadays unserstand the world better.
In his words; “I used to be young like you once—I’ve also been in that “urgent 2k” phase. Life comes in stages, so don’t stress. What you’re meant to be at 40 doesn’t have to happen at 18 or 22. Take your time.
Back then, I didn’t really understand how life worked. When I was younger and heard someone was 35, I used to think they were close to dying! Enjoy your youth. You have something we didn’t—technology. It gives you an edge and a wider view of the world. Just be patient with yourself.”
