“Nothing makes sense without you” – Singer Wizkid celebrates his late mother’s first posthumous birthday (Video)

Award-Winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has taken to social media to celebrate his late mother’s first posthumous birthday.

Recall that Wizkid’s mother Jane Dolapo Morayo Balogun died on August 18, 2023, in London and by extension, her burial ceremony was absolutely nothing but a high profile one as top Nigerian celebrities were in attendance.

Taking to his verified page on the popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter, Wizkid while celebrating his late mother’s first posthumous birthday said nothing makes sense to him anymore since his mother’s demise.

Wizkid, the “Essence” hitmaker said that life has been empty without his late mother and his heart has been broken forever. He further tells his late mother to continue to watch over him and his siblings.

Wizkid tweeted; “Happy birthday love of my life! Miss you everyday. First one without you here feels unreal. Nothing makes sense without you mama! Life is empty without you. Continue to watch over us ! My heart is broken forever ! 💔 love you love love you MORAYO mi. Your smile is all a memory I will never forget. Your laugh! Your hugs and kisses. I miss you dearly! ❤️❤️.”

Wizkid added that his forthcoming album, Morayo named after his late mother is going to be his best album he ever made in in career as an artiste.

He said; “MORAYO!! Best album I ever made!! Now listen! It’s only up from here! ❤️🦅”
