In the clip circulating online, Oxlade can be seen introducing his father to the crowd. His dad then gave a short, heartfelt speech, expressing his pride in his son’s achievements and thanking everyone for their support.
What captured the attention of many was when Oxlade’s father narrated how the singer was once a masquerade 15 years ago.
In his words, “Thank you everybody. I am very happy. When I got to this place, the wonderful boy was coming with masquerades, Eyo and Egbo from Epe town. He carried Egbo festival sometimes for about 15 years”.
