A new video is making the round across social media platforms that shows USA president reaction after a reporter accidentally struck his face with microphone.
During a press briefing at Joint Base Andrews on Friday, US President Donald Trump experienced an unexpected moment that quickly went viral.
While answering questions, a boom microphone—nicknamed a “dead cat” due to its furry windscreen—accidentally hit him in the mouth and grazed his face. The 78-year-old instinctively leaned back and shut his eyes, visibly startled by the surprise contact.
As the mic was quickly retracted, Trump raised his eyebrows and shot the reporter a sharp glance. “She just made television tonight,” he remarked, suggesting the moment would grab headlines. “She just became a big story tonight.” Turning to someone off-camera, he asked, “Did you see that?”
It remains unclear which media outlet the boom mic operator was working for.
