Teni Amazes Fans With Emotional Hospital Visit, Pays Bills & Helps Homeless Widow

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has brought joy to several hospital patients following her recovery from an illness.

Teni had been unwell for a few days, as previously reported by GistLover, and had shared a video of herself undergoing treatment. Now back on her feet, she decided to give back to the community.

In a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram page, the “Money” crooner revealed that she visited the Federal Medical Centre in Ebute Meta, where she settled hospital bills and donated essential items to patients.

During her visit, she introduced a man named Mr. Benjamin as her tour guide and was taken to the hospital’s welfare department. There, she met a grieving widow who had lost her 37-year-old son and was unable to pay the hospital expenses before his passing. The hospital staff explained that the woman had also reached out to the government for assistance with the burial.

Moved by her plight, Teni offered financial assistance to help ease her burden. The widow, who had been rendered homeless after being driven out by her late husband’s family, had been seeking refuge in a church on Allen Avenue.

Teni’s generosity didn’t stop there. She also visited another ward where nursing mothers with pre-term babies were receiving care. The singer settled the bills for two of the women and provided them with gifts. She encouraged them to embrace their babies on her behalf once they were discharged from the incubators.

This act of kindness is just one of many for Teni. In the past, she has also supported the less privileged, including taking the Dream Catchers Kids on a shopping spree.

Her compassionate gesture has once again solidified her reputation as not just a talented musician but also a philanthropist at heart.
