Popular Nigerian media personality Naijashimadun also known as Baba Egbe has shared his two cents on singer Asake’s song ‘MMS’ featuring Wizkid, which is off Asake’s album ‘Lungu Boy’.
The nostalgic track “MMS”, which stands for ‘Mr Money Sound’, has become one of the trending songs, gaining popularity across all music streaming platforms. Released today, the song has quickly resonated with fans of Asake, Wizkid, and music lovers alike.
Wizkid’s verse on the song broke the internet as the ‘Essence’ crooner uniquely introduced a new music style into the song, complementing Asake’s smooth and laid-back delivery.
Shortly after its release, social media users took to the internet space to share one or two opinions about the song. Many gushed over Wizkid’s verse while many slammed the song. Many revealed that the Afrobeat song is unfit for dancing.
However, Naijamashidun analyzed ‘MMS’ track, stating that the song has a very strong meaning and meant for music lovers to listen attentively.
