Nigerian music producer and MAVIN boss, Don Jazzy and singer Shallipopi have touched down Benin City to support musician Rema ahead of his homecoming concert coming up tonight August 30th.

Rema’s highly anticipated homecoming show became the talk of the town as the event will take place at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City. It will be his first performance in his hometown in six years, marking a significant event in his musical career.

The ‘Ozeba’ crooner made a grand entrance into Benin, Edo State, arriving in a private jet and receiving a hero’s welcome. Rema paid a visit to the Oba of Benin’s palace, where he performed his hit song “Calm Down”, earning him a royal medal.

However, video making the rounds online captured moments singer Shallipopi, whose real name is Crown Uzama, landed in Benin airport in company of his crew members to watch Rema perform live on stage.

Don Jazzy also took to his Instagram page as he shared photos of himself landing in Benin city ahead of Rema’s homecoming concert. He captioned the photos, “Benin the Don is here for your illustrious son REMA”.
