VeryDarkman Drops Another Song Titled ‘For Body Of Christ’

Controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has released a new song titled Court Case and shared snippets of the accompanying music video with his fans.

Previously, VDM faced criticism for referencing the Body of Christ in his recordings, leading gospel artist Testimony Jaga to caution him over his statements. However, this has not deterred him from continuing his musical pursuits.

In a recent Instagram video, the TikToker playfully pretended to cry while urging his followers to stream his song. He also revealed his ambition to collaborate with notable Nigerian artists such as 2Baba, Vector, MI Abaga, Magnito, and Mode Nine. However, he admitted that financial constraints prevent him from featuring all the artists he admires.

VDM explained that increasing his music streams would help generate the funds needed for both these collaborations and his ongoing court case.

The activist, who recently took a jab at comedian Deeone, acknowledged gospel singer Mercy Chinwo as a source of inspiration for his latest track. The music video features a female vixen, while VDM and his close friend Kokopee also performed a short drama within the visuals.

Engaging with his followers, VDM took to the comment section of his post, asking if he should feature Kokopee on the track. He humorously pointed out that Kokopee pushed him away in the video and encouraged fans to respond with “hi” if they supported the idea of his best friend joining the song.

Here are the lyrics:

“They took me to court to cut me, but Chineke was there for me. Chineke come through.”
