In fresh controversy, online activist Vincent Martins Otse popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM) has called out Nigerian singer Davido’s friend and talent manager Ubi Franklin over N10 million he collected from a man.
Verydarkman, known for his outspoken personality, took to his Instagram page, revealing that the man invested the whopping sum of money with Ubi Franklin and he had refused to pay up the money after their contract ended in June.
The activist claimed that the talent manager leveraged his connection with Davido and his wife, Chioma, to deceive numerous individuals, including a man who entrusted him with a N10 million investment.
He shared WhatsApp chats and audio notes where Ubi Franklin was heard requesting some weeks grace period to refund the man’s money, which he ultimately failed to do.
Verydarkman stated that Ubi has until the upcoming Tuesday to repay the money, or he will be compelled to take legal action to recover it.
He also warned that if Ubi fails to repay the money, he would expose all the secrets he knows about him on social media, making Ubi even more infamous online.
In his words, “@davido I cannot understand how ubi franklin a manager under 30bg is out here $c@mm!ng people i have reported him to you before,anyways ubi franklin you have till Tuesday to pay up.”
