The clip however generated several reactions online, while some netizens laughed over it as they found it amusing, others criticized Zlatan for not correcting his son’s perception of the street kids.
Reacting to the video, a man who claims to know about Zlatan Ibile’s childhood story calls out rapper, stressing that the singer used to be a street boy before he breaks into prominence in the Nigeria music industry.
He recalled how he, alongside Zlatan Ibile and others at Ipaja would go and play football at Fela field noting that Zlatan at that time was very broke street kid.
He went on to say, “How would Zlatan Ibile feel if someone referred to him as a bad boy just because he was a street boy seeking assistance?”
Criticizing Zlatan Ibile’s attitude in the video, the man pointed out that the same poor people his son referred to as bad boys are the ones streaming his songs.
